Rabuor Village Project empowers the people of Rabuor Village to develop sustainable community-based solutions to overcome the challenges of poverty and HIV/AIDS.

Caxton Odhiambo is 14 years old and the head of his household. He cars for his younger brother and sister. They have lost thier parents, youngest sister and other family members to HIV/AIDS.

They live in Rabuor, in western Kenya, on the coast of Lake Victoria. This region was hit hardest by HIV/AIDS in sub- Saharan Africa. Their story illustrates how they survive and overcome poverty and the effects of HIV/AIDS in Rabuor one day at a time.
